Competitions
- Monthly competitions are organised from April to October, generally at Tildarg Fishery, Ballyclare
- We are happy to accept invitations from other clubs that have suitable facilities for disabled anglers and have had some most enjoyable outings.
- The National Championships and Qualifying Competition is held in May or June each year to all members compete for a place on the team (seven anglers) to represent Ireland at the International Competition.
- The International Disabled Fly Fishing Competition is held in Scotland , England , Ireland and Wales , hosted by each country in turn. In 2006 England was the host nation and the competition was held on Eyebrook Fishery.
- In 2007 Ireland will be the host nation and the competition will be fished on Annagh Lake, Co. Cavan 22-24th June 2007. Annagh Lake is managed by Buttlersbridge Trout Anglers Co-operative Society Ltd.
- To be eligible to fish on the Irish Team an angler must have been resident in either Ulster or the Republic of Ireland for the 3 years immediately preceding the date of the Qualifying Competition.
